Data necessary for banking inclusion and the fight against overindebtedness

We refrain from processing data relating to your racial or ethnic origins, your political opinions, your religion, your philosophical beliefs, or your trade union membership, as well as the processing of genetic data.

Information collected indirectly

Although you are not a customer of Verso, A'kiba Technologies and Verso may collect information about you, namely:

  • Identification and contact data of the client's prospects and contacts, legal representatives, members of the same family, heirs, debtors, shareholders, natural persons, and authorized persons of a legal entity Client of Verso.

Information from third-party partners

A'kiba Technologies may also collect personal data from partners and third-party organizations with the aim of verifying or enriching its databases:

4. Banking Partners and Authorities

  • We are sometimes required to share your data with entities such as ANIF, COBAC, ECOBANK, BGFIBANK, BDA, the Economic and Financial Criminal Pole, the Judicial Police, the Economic Police, CEMAC, BEAC, the DGCPT, and the DGI to respond to official requests and regulatory obligations in Gabon.

Indeed, A'kiba Technologies, a company governed by Gabonese law, attaches paramount importance to compliance with the regulations in force in Gabon concerning the protection of personal data. Consequently, your personal data is mainly processed and preserved within Gabonese territory.

5 - Can your personal data be processed, shared and stored abroad?

It should be noted that some of our partners are either based abroad or have data centers outside Gabon. As part of the execution of their obligations towards A'kiba Technologies, these partners may be required to process and store your data outside CEMAC, in countries with similar guarantees in terms of personal data protection. A'kiba Technologies also shares your personal data with its partners located outside its borders (notably in France and the United States), ensuring that these countries provide adequate guarantees of protection of personal data and in strict compliance with the regulatory formalities required for transfers of personal data outside CEMAC.

6 - How long does A'kiba Technologies keep your personal data?

You acknowledge that your information, including your personal data, as well as your transactions, your documents or their reproductions, will be recorded and stored by A'kiba Technologies for a period of ten (10) years.
