A'KIBA Technologies ("we", "our", "Verso").
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, share and protect your personal data when you
use the Verso application, our website or any related service (the "Services").
By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Policy and accept it.
1. Personal data collected
We collect only the data strictly necessary for the provision of regulated financial services.
1.1 Identification data
- First name, last name
- Date and place of birth
- Nationality
- Address
- Phone number and email address
- Official ID document (national ID, passport or equivalent)
- Photo/selfie for identification (as part of KYC)
1.2 Financial data
- Verso account information
- Transaction history
- Data related to virtual cards
- Data necessary for the execution of payments and top-ups
1.3 Technical and usage data
- IP address
- Device type, operating system
- Login logs
- Browsing and application usage data
1.4 Support and communication data
- Exchanges with customer service

Verso does not voluntarily collect sensitive data (political opinions, religion, health, etc.).

- Provide and operate the Verso Services

- Execute transactions and financial operations
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations (KYC, AML, counter-terrorism financing)

- Banking and financial partners (card issuance, settlements, compliance)
- Technical service providers (hosting, KYC, anti-fraud, support)

All partners are contractually bound to respect the confidentiality and security of your data.
Verso never sells your personal data.
5. Hosting and international transfers
Personal data is hosted on secure infrastructure, including via international cloud services (e.g. AWS).
Some data may be processed outside Gabon. In such cases, Verso implements contractual, technical and
organisational safeguards to ensure a level of protection equivalent to local requirements.
6. Retention period
Data is retained in accordance with regulatory requirements:
- KYC data: minimum 5 to 10 years after account closure (according to legal
obligations)
- Transaction data: legal period applicable to financial services
- Marketing data: until consent is withdrawn
- Technical data: period necessary for security and improvement of the Services

Verso implements strict security measures, including:
- Encryption of sensitive data
- Strict access controls
- Security monitoring and audits
